I Am...American?

Molson Inc. shareholders voted by an overwhelming margin to approve the proposed merger with American brewer Adolph Coors Co.

Class A shareholders approved the deal by 80.2% and Class B shareholders by 84.3%. The new beer giant would have annual sales in excess of $6 Billion US. Coors shareholders will vote on the merger next Tuesday in Colorado.

Molson was founded in 1786 by John Molson, who started the company in Montreal. The company employs over 3,800 people across the country. Molson is one of the longest operating companies in North America and the continent's oldest brand of beer.

So much for the "I Am Canadian" slogan.
