Well now we know why the media loves President Bush so much - he pays them to. Apparently, syndicated pundit Armstrong Williams was paid
$240,000 US to support Bush's 'No Child Left Behind Act'. The story also comes right after an internal report condeming the Office of National Drug Control Policy for distributing commercials which were broadcast as news reports. The Department of Education was also found to be guilty of a similar offense, paying advertisers to produce items which were aired as news reports.
So much for freedom of the Press.
